Traditional “Welcome to Mauritius!” dinner & Sega performance
We’ll welcome the lucky PG participants in Mauritius with a special dinner at the venue. Our hosts will serve local dishes and we will enjoy a traditional Sega performance.
Boat ride to Ile Aux Cerfs & snorkeling
A catamaran will pick us up and take us to the gorgeous Ile Aux Cerfs (Deer Island) for the day, where we will enjoy one of the world’s most beautiful sandy beaches, a stunning lagoon, we will snorkel to get a taste of the rich underwater world.
And have a BBQ – on board 🙂

Powered by Google, Startup Grind has become a household name as a global community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. We are joining forces with the local Startup Grind chapter in organizing an insightful entrepreneurial meetup, where we will share ideas and connect with other founders and startup enthusiasts.
What’s up with the local startup ecosystem?
Vincent Pollet and Louis Oberlé are partners at www.ict.io, a news blog on the digital & tech world, in Mauritius & Indian Ocean.
They will visit us to give us a great overview of the startup ecosystem in the Indian Ocean.
Chill & Sunset on the mountain with snack and drinks
We’ll walk up a mountain in proximity to the PG venue to bask in the world famous Mauritian sunset while having snacks and drinks – and conversations you wish would never end :).
Being a (female) entrepreneur in Mauritius
Marie-Noëlle Elissac-Foy is a former Chief Editor at La Sentinelle with over 10 years of experience in publishing.
She has founded and currently leads the “The Talent Factory”, a PR Consultancy, and has worked with various organizations (hotel groups, TVs and radio).
She will share from her experience as a (female) entrepreneur in Mauritius.
Co-working spaces tour
We will visit several of the co-working spaces on the island and get to know the location independent, freelancing and startup community better. We will, naturally, follow that with dinner and sunset on the beach.

Curious to know what solutions Mauritian companies can offer to support your company’s operations? We’ll hear from a couple of solution providers about their available offers, which will also help us get a sense of some of the enterprise solutions (CRM,ERP, e-filing) developed on the island.
- Made in Moris product tasting & brainstorming
“Made in Moris” is used to identify a selection of trustworthy products manufactured by both SME’s and large enterprises in the agro-industry, other industries, textile industry and creative and cultural industries.
46 manufacturers including 16 SME’s have rallied behind one common goal, namely the growth and sustainability of the Mauritian manufacturing industry. And we’ll get to taste and enjoy some of their certified products!
