The next stop on our PG2015 participant intro world tour is San Francisco, where Kim Gengler, a highly successful PR and social media expert, is currently transitioning to the entrepreneurial world.
Having graduated with a journalism degree, Kim parlayed her story telling skills into a public relations career, which includes senior roles at companies like Riverbed Technology and HORN, where she advised executives on external communication strategies.
A fitting word to describe her would be “curious” – a trait that pushes her to explore the entrepreneurial path. She is currently completing her training as a professional coach and making bold moves towards creating a consulting business and network of coaches who help bridge cultural differences.
Described by the people she works with as an “inspiration”, Kim is on a mission to help people build new skills and capacities for business, as well as newfound richness within their lives.
She is involved in the Burning Man community, building large-scale art installations, and loves to draw and paint. Kim is really good at dancing like no one is watching, picking out the perfect music for the moment and brightening up a situation.
During PG, she would love to assist other participants with public relations, social media and online marketing, as well as touch on super interesting topics such as “How to retrain your nervous system to overcome your fears”. We’d like to be part of that!
We can’t wait to meet you, Kim!
Do you want to join Kim, Paul, Tarah and other awesome entrepreneurs like them and live a month you will never forget? The second round of applications is now open!
