The wait is over!
Today we’re kicking off the second batch of participant introductions by welcoming an out-of-this-world awesome entrepreneur from Philippines.
Stephen Ku is one of the pioneers of the events industry in his country, having started one of the leading below-the-line agencies in the Philippines, Eventscape Manila. The agency services some of the biggest brands and has become a trailblazer in the marketing & digital media industry.
He is highly involved in Manila’s entertainment scene via another company he founded, called Worldwide Womb and some of the largest nightclubs like Valkyrie (DJ Mag’s 75th in the world). His team is behind some of the most prominent concerts and music festivals in the country, featuring the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, Jason Mraz, Tiesto, Avicii and Fat Boy Slim, among others.
He also owns a beach resort/club in Boracay (where he would love to host a PG event in the future *wink*), sings in a rock band and owns a scuba diving school.
As if all that wasn’t challenging enough, he is now on his way to conquering the next frontier: the tech world. He launched and is currently developing two startups: Partyphile (an Uber-like service for parties) and Klik (a dating app) – and both are gaining a lot of interest and traction.
Stephen is passionate about beaches, food & nightlife, is really good at pretending to cook 🙂 and loves to sing and compose.
He will, naturally, bid to become the Chief Party Officer.
